Five murders in South Korea, perpetrators only serve life in prison.

Ahn In-deuk is suspected of setting fire to his apartment and wielding a weapon to kill five people and injure 17 others, but he is shocking as he has not been sentenced to death.

He was initially sentenced to death, but was sentenced to life in prison by an appeals court.

Ahn In-deuk was put on trial on charges of murder, arson and other charges, but his sentence was commuted due to mental and physical weakness.

The court said that the results of the psychiatric and appraisal show that he failed to cause a normal accident due to severe paranoia and relationship. 

He added, "It is a brutal crime, but I will reduce my sentence because I committed the crime while my decision-making ability was low."
